The mei tai baby carrier is a time tested asian baby carrier that is so versatile and that is the reason it is my favorite.  With the mei tai you can carry your baby on your back, on your hip, on your chest with baby facing in or outward.  The Kai Tai is no different in that respect, however it does have some additional features. 

  • Head cover/headrest
  • Converts to it's own carry bag
  • Big pocket to use while also using it as a baby carrier
  • Pockets in the straps that can easily carry keys, wallet, or a water bottle
  • 2 ring for paci holder or toy attachment
  • Adjustable bodice for comfort in between baby's legs while outward facing.

  • Extra long shoulder straps at no additional cost.
  • Reversible with a solid color on one side and a pattern on the other, ideal for two different wearers with two different styles.

    The best way I can describe this fabric is it looks like natural brown grass woven into a pattern of stripes.  This fabric was selected by my husband for his Guy Tai. (All carriers sold have never been used.)

     This fabric is quilted so it is lightly padded.  It's nice to do one carrier all over, or with a contrasting solid.  Just let me know when you order what you'd prefer.
